What Unspentify is — and what it never touches
Unspentify is a manual subscription tracker. We never connect to your bank, never read your transactions, and never ask for financial account credentials. The only subscription data we store is what you type in yourself.
Data we store
- Account — your email address and a user id, provided by Google sign-in (via Supabase Auth). We never see your Google password.
- Subscriptions you add — name, price, currency, billing cycle, category, next billing date. Private to your account, enforced by row-level security.
- Billing (Plus) — if you subscribe to Unspentify Plus, payment is processed by Stripe. We store your Stripe customer id and subscription status; your card number never touches our servers.
What we don't do
- We do not sell or rent your data — to anyone, ever.
- We do not run third-party advertising or tracking pixels.
- We do not read data beyond what the app needs to function.
Processors we rely on
- Supabase— database & authentication.
- Stripe — payment processing for Unspentify Plus.
- Brevo — delivery of transactional email (renewal reminders and account emails).
- Vercel — application hosting.
Each processes data only on our instructions.
Usage analytics
We collect privacy-friendly, first-party usage analytics (page views, clicks, scroll depth) tied to a random session id — never to your identity, and never shared with third-party ad networks. It tells us which parts of the product help, so we can improve them.
Your rights
You can delete all your tracked subscriptions at any time from Settings. To delete your account and every associated record, or to request an export, email us — we comply within 30 days.
